|

kill three police officers! what a year! |
|
policeman arrested in connection heroin
trafficking |
|
Narcotics arrests in the UK & Canada - to include a serving and former
Bermuda police officer! Ask yourself a question ... why were they not
permitted to travel to Bermuda but arrested whilst exporting?

George
Jackson ... again! |
|
we caught up
with Deputy Commissioner of Bermuda police, George in London ... the
meeting notes are just the start of the coverage that will
follow! |

Abuse |
|
read this
abuse and weep - just how arrogant can a police
constabulary be? Or is it that they consider themselves sot be
'judges'; their word is the law! |
 |

Mr Provan flees the island |
|
it is alleged Mr Provan committed an assault and was permitted to leave the
island.
www.bermudaplice.com offered their assistance
(being UK based0 but Bermuda would prefer to cut their nose off to spite

Recruitment |
|
This site has
experienced a substantial rise in hits over the past weeks September saw a
record number of visitors, topped by October when, for the first time, the
site broke the 8000 visits per month. Bermuda is clearly on a
recruitment drive again! Thinking of joining the Bermuda police farce,
then don't forget to read

More evidence
of Police incompetence... time to call in outside help to save what is left
of the ailing Bermuda Police Farce? The Royal Gazette article appears at 'Communication
Breakdown'. |

More cops 'do
a runner'? Conditions were apparently so bad at St Georges barracks
that within 4 weeks officers had returned to UK. |

Ignorance IS an excuse for the law in Bermuda! |
|
a young
sailor
escapes conviction because he
'did not intend to break any laws'. However, he is to face
disciplinary action. So who will be disciplined for not adequately
equipping this young man with the knowledge he required to enter Bermuda?
Are sailors expected to be conversant with the laws in every country they
visit? Who else will receive Magistrate King's benevolent approach to
legislation? Leniency is to be commended but effectively condoning???
Let's see how many tourists are
released (as an example) for bringing in small quantities of narcotics for
personal use ... 'but I did not know your honour' ... ABSOLUTE DISCHARGE! |

Cannabis demand increasing? |
|
you be the
judge as the island secures a record haul. |

|
Heroin use on the increase |
|
Needles are
again the preferred method of abuse - echoes of the 80's & 90's and the AIDS
scare. Increased heroin use because ... increased availability? |

| The one that
got away -
alleged deserter, apparently in the
process of fleeing the island is acquitted. |
|
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner came out with guns
blazing yesterday as he acquitted a policeman of “desertion” and called for
a commission to investigate Police Service’s
treatment of crime suspects |

Give us guns - say the cops.
Well, at least Carl does. |
|
What is the island coming too? Has it
really got to this?
Carl surely the approach should be to prevent
guns coming into Bermuda and removing those that are currently present
instead of bring more in (for the police), or have you given up on
prevention already? |

Andrew Jackson arrested on suspicion of
impaired driving! Makes a change from
possession of narcotics. |

Deputy Commissioner
George Jackson's son, Andrew Jackson, is in the news again.
Once more, it is nothing for his dad to be proud of! At least we hope
not. |

| Another murder
and more drugs: As the 'facts' of a murder trail slowly unfold, so the
public is given an insight into the drug-riddled island's underbelly.
Just how many secrets can this small island hold? Accusations levelled
at four policee officers of assisting in the importation of narcotics may
lead to further investigations but do not hold your breath.

More farcical
stuff and keystone cop antics. Reading that an officer had lost his
pocket book which held relevant information was just about as convincing as
the cross-examination he appeared to receive. What further revelations
are to follow. Do read the
Royal Gazette to keep abreast of this
comedy of errors. |

all poised for the trial of three defendants
accused of killing an alleged American drug mule Stanley Lee (aka Sean
Russells)? Let's see if the Bermuda police service
and Attorney General's office can secure a conviction or if professional
prosecutions are another victim of the Bermuda Triangle ... disappeared
without trace. Why the
interest in the case? It was
apparently as a result of the investigation into the murder that Clifford
Roberts (police officer) and Onika Wainwright (police
officer) were exposed.
Word is that lot's of names, many in high places have been called in
connection with the entire affair.
The trial was set to start on Tuesday and already
there has apparently been a lot of activity.
We are not holding our breath in anticipation of a conviction, rather taking
bets on how long before the case descends into farce and collapses. Please
prove us wrong Bermuda. For more about the case,
